Concetta T DeMattia died peacefully at the Winchester Hospital on Saturday, April 7th. She was 91.
The beloved daughter of the late John and Vincenza (Nuzzo) DeMattia, Concetta was born in Boston but lived most of her life in Medford. She worked for many years at the cafeteria at Sears and Roebuck Co. She was a devoted sister to Carmella Baglio and her husband Gene and Ernest DeMattia, all of Medford, the late Chester, Joseph and Frank “Billy” DeMattia. She also leaves her sisters-in-law: Rosemarie and MaryLou DeMattia as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family, Thursday from 4 thru 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
