Mr. James H. “Moose” Kiklis, age 67, died Friday July 20th in Reading, at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House, after a brief illness. Born in Stoneham, Jim was the devoted son of the late Tina (Giannoulas) & Harry C. Kiklis.

Jim was known as Moose to his family and friends. He was a lifelong Woburn resident and was a member of the Woburn City Athletic Club, Towanda Club and the Woburn Elks. An avid Boston sports fan, Jim also enjoyed horse racing, cards and cribbage with his uncles. He enjoyed visits to Saratoga, NY and York Beach, ME. Jim owned and operated a mobile canteen truck and drove routes in the Burlington and Woburn areas.

Jim was the beloved husband of Kathleen M. (Hogan) Kiklis. Devoted father of Stefanie Capua of Woburn, Mark Kiklis and his wife Nancy of Methuen. Loving Papou of Sophia. Brother of Charles H. Kiklis of Scituate and the late Marina Sinatra. Also survived by many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Wednesday, July 25th from 4 thru 8 at the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. WOBURN. Funeral service has respectfully been omitted.

Roberta A. Greenwood, of Stoneham, formerly of Woburn, passed away on Friday July 27, 2012 at Aberjona Nursing Center in Winchester. She was 70 years old.

Born in Boston, Roberta was the loving daughter of the late John P. Greenwood and Sarah (King) Greenwood and the grand daughter of the late Frederick H. Greenwood and Mary Ann (Connolly).

Roberta was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her smile reflected the many friendships she made throughout the years. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Roberta was the loving mother of Jeffrey Greenwood and his wife Carla of Stoneham. She was the grandmother of Domenic and Marco. Roberta was the dear sister of Robert Greenwood and his wife Donna of New Hampshire. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Arthur G. Ellis, 95, of Woburn, MA, died Tuesday at the Sawtelle Hospice House, Reading, MA.

He was born and educated in Methuen, MA and graduated from Edward F. Searles High School in 1934. He later graduated from the Mass Maritime Academy. He was a resident of Woburn for the past 64 years.

Mr. Ellis was a Mechanical Engineer for the United States Navy. He was also a US Navy veteran, serving during World War II. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling, and was an avid reader. Most of all, Arthur enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by his wife Mary (Taylor) Ellis.

He is survived by his Twin Daughters:

Mr. Raymond P. Yelle, of Taunton, died Saturday, August 4 in the Bostonian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dorchester, following a period of failing health. He was the beloved husband of Louise E. (Dufour) Yelle for 72 years. He was born 92 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Arthur and Alma (Neveux) Yelle. He was educated in Taunton and was a lifelong city resident. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed at the Manchester Silver Company of Providence, R.I. for 10 years. He was previously employed as a metal spinner for the former Ricketson Company of Taunton for 38 years. He was also employed at the Old Colony Historical Society in Taunton for a number of years. Raymond was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served with the 343rd Infantry Regiment in Central Europe and the Phillippines. He was a member of the David F. Adams Post #611, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Oakland Senior Citizens Club, The Joseph’s Volunteer Group of Holy Rosary Church, and served as Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts at the former Immaculate Conception Church in Taunton. He enjoyed camping and was a hobbyist. He was a communicant of the Holy Rosary Church in Taunton.
In addition to his wife, he leaves: 3 sons: Raymond P. Yelle, Jr. and his wife, Sandra of Alfred, N.Y., Robert A. Yelle and his wife, Judith of Hamilton, Ohio, and Stephen Yelle and his wife, Lorraine of Berkley, Ma.; 2 daughters: Alyce L. Flynn and her husband, Laurence of W.Newton, and Roberta A. Qualey and her husband, Richard of Woburn; 1 brother: G. Roger Yelle and his wife, Maria of Taunton; 1 sister: Helen Stringer of Middletown, R.I.; 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Raymond was also the brother of the late Albert Yelle, Armand Yelle, Loretta Conroy, Viola Heffren, and Yvette Demers.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Thursday, August 9 at 10:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in the Holy Rosary Church at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Mr. William A. Kelley Sr., age 82, Of Woburn, formerly of Arlington, died Tuesday evening, August 21, 2012, in Woburn after a lengthy illness. Born in Boston, William was the devoted son of the late Clara D. (Holland) & Lawrence M. Kelley.

Bill was raised in Brighton and graduated from Boston State High. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War, proudly serving from April, 1953-May 1955. Soon after being discharged, Bill began working at Raytheon Co. He was an engineer, working on various projects for the U.S. military, retiring in 1992, after 35 years.

Bill was an avid golfer. He enjoyed dancing, especially with his late wife Marie, listening to music, watching baseball games and camping in New Hampshire White Lakes State Park. He and his late wife were active in St. Agnes Church of Arlington. Bill was involved with the church band, bingo, and also as an usher for Sunday mass. He was a former president of the Boston Archdiocese Choir School Parents Guild. Bill was the artistic creator of the mascot for Arlington Catholic High School. He created and hung the mural at the school in 1977. Most of all Bill enjoyed time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Bill was the beloved husband of the late Marie C. (Hennessey) Kelley. Devoted father of William Kelley Jr. of Beverly, Brian F. Kelley and his wife Patty of Leominster, Robert J. Kelley and his wife Susan of Woburn, Ted Kelley and his wife Andrea of Arlington, Marie “Re Re” Kelley of Leominster, Carolyn Churcher and her husband John of Leominster. Loving grandfather of Sean Kelley and his wife Amanda, Andrew Kelley, Jeffrey Kelley, Jake Churcher, Kelley Churcher, and Kaitlyn Churcher. Brother of Laurene Fee of Hingham, and the late Barbara, Leo, Bob, and Dick Kelley. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Beatrice J. Puopolo, age 83, a Woburn resident for over fifty years passed away January 13th, at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, following a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred A. “Freddie” Puopolo and together they shared 57 years of marriage prior to his death in 2007. Born in Berlin, NH she was the daughter of the late Lafette A. and Emma B. (Kenniston) Duvall.

“Jean” as she was affectionately known to her family and friends was a registered nurse, loving and devoted wife, mother and homemaker. Jean enjoyed being active and volunteering her time for others. She was a past president of the Hurld School P.T.A, taught C.C.D. classes at St. Charles Church where she was also Eucharistic Minister. She was also a Leukemia volunteer and trustee, volunteering many hours and days at the New England Medical Center Leukemia Room. She loved people and took great pleasure in helping others. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, reading and growing her gardenias, jasmine and orchard plants.

In addition to her late husband, Jean is predeceased by two brothers and a sister. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Puopolo of Medford, and son, Michael C. Puopolo of Woburn. She is also survived by her dear nieces and nephews, Barbara Vollucci of California, Denise DuPont of Holliston, Charles and Anna Puopolo of Woburn and many more loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Born in Woburn, Ann moved to Virginia Beach in the mid 1980′s and spent 18 years there and then in 2003 she moved to York, ME. Ann was the beloved daughter of the late Mary E. (Brown) and William E. McLaughlin.
Ann attended and graduated from St. Charles High School. She was an enthusiastic N.E.Patriots fan and enjoyed watching games with her loving family. Most of all, Ann enjoyed spending time with her 5 loving grandchildren.

Elaine F. (Crudden) Parker, 60, of Londonderry, NH died Friday, January 27, 2012 after a short illness at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. She was the daughter of the late Francis J. and Mary R. (McDonough) Crudden. A resident of Londonderry for the past 21 years, she was born in Woburn, MA and graduated from Woburn High School. Elaine was a former employee of Blue Seal Feeds and had a great love for animals and the proper care of them. A life member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, she was active in helping out at the V.F.W. Post #1617 in Derry. She enjoyed travelling to Las Vegas for the Nascar races and was a big fan of number “88”.
Elaine is survived by her immediate family, her husband, Lawrence J. Parker of Londonderry; her sister, Mary R. Marsi, wife of Ronald Marsi of Woburn, MA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 31st from 5pm to 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Irene M. (Hines) Nelson, of Woburn, passed away Feb. 10, 2012, lovingly surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry E. Nelson. Born in Chelsea, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Gertrude (Cronin) Hines. Irene spent her life caring for children, her own as well as countless others. She was blessed with having Type O negative blood and was frequently called day and night to donate her blood for newborns. In her spare time, Mrs. Nelson loved to play bingo at St. Mary’s church and the Sons of Italy in Winchester. An avid golf fan, Irene loved to watch golf on TV and attend tournaments. She was loved by her daughter Linda Henderson of Woburn, son Harry and Maureen Nelson, Jr. of Georgetown, MA, Bruce and Carol Nelson of Bradford, MA, Donald and Lori Nelson of East Wareham, MA, Mark Nelson of Woburn and the late David, Bradford and Keith Nelson. She was the dear sister of Philip Hines of Woburn and the late Phyllis Cook, Robert and William Hines and is further survived by 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the Costello Funeral Home 177 Washington St. Winchester on Wed., February 15, 2012 @ 10:00AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Richard P. Kiesinger, age 78, a resident of Wilmington for more than fifty years, passed away on February 11th with his family by his side at the Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Mary F. (Guzzetti) Kiesinger and together they shared 54 years of marriage. Born and raised in Altoona, PA he was the son of the late Philip G. and Vivian I. (Bitner) Kiesinger.

At the age of sixteen Richard moved with his family from Altoona, PA to Waltham where he finished high school. He soon enlisted in the United States Army and honorably served from 1953 to 1955 during the Korean War. Upon his return home to civilian life he began his career with the Raytheon Corporation where he worked as a Design Engineer for almost forty years prior to his retirement. Mostly devoted to his family, Richard enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and especially his grandchildren. For many years he was active with the Boy Scouts and volunteered as an Assistant Scout Master with Troop 56 of Wilmington. Richard enjoyed staying active and current with many community affairs. He also enjoyed hunting, fresh water fishing and being outdoors.

In addition to his late parents, Richard is predeceased by his infant daughter, the late Laura Ann Kiesinger, and his sister, the late Carol Smith-Kiesinger.

He is survived by his wife Mary, a daughter, Joan M. Harvey and her husband Frank of Dracut, sons, James V. Kiesinger of Wilmington, Philip J. Kiesinger and his wife Deborah of Billerica. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Philip Kiesinger, Jr., twins Nicholas and Brandon Kiesinger, Alexandra, Richard and Colin Harvey.

Funeral services will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St., WILMINGTON, Friday, February 17th, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Dorothy Church, Main St., Wilmington, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Dello Russo Funeral Home will held on Thursday, February 16th, from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with military honors and burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.

Rose M. Reader, of Woburn formerly of Somerville passed away peacefully on February 11th at the Woodbriar of Wilmington Nursing Facility at the age of 87, following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved and devoted wife of the late Andrew Reader. Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Crucifica (LaPiana) Marino.

Rose worked as a clerk for many years with the Massachusetts Department of Revenue prior to her retirement in 1986. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her family and friends, and attending church. Before her late husband’s death, together they enjoyed traveling on many vacations and they also loved to go out with friends on Saturday nights dancing. She was a member of the Red Head Society.

In addition to her late husband and parents, Rose is predeceased by two daughters, the late Janet Toomey and Cecile McCormick.

She is survived by her daughter Eileen Castelli and her husband Stephen of Burlington. Grandchildren, Jennifer Scali, Robin Redman, John and Jay McCormick, Andrea Valerio, Jeneane Tzovaras and Stephen Castelli. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and her sister, Josephine DiJulia of Somerville.

Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Thursday, February 16th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Eileen Mary (Kinosky) Gallagher, age 77, of Wilmington, formerly of Woburn and Winchester, passed away Feb. 12, 2012 after a sudden illness. She was the beloved wife for 45 years of Eric F. Gallagher. Born and raised in Woburn, she was a graduate of Woburn High School. In her early years, Eileen worked in electronics for Sylvania in N. Woburn and then ran a daycare center in Winchester for many years. She was also employed by the Town of Winchester as a crossing guard. A great cook, Eileen loved to host holiday dinners and share her great dishes with family and friends. She enjoyed life very much. She and her husband liked to go to Foxwoods Casino where she loved to play the slot machines and was often very lucky. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends, as she was a great person and loved life to the fullest. Eileen was the loving mother/aunt of Peter Sweet and Grace Cail, both of Woburn, and the cherished sister of Beverly Sweet and her husband Harold, and Shirley Butler, all of Woburn and the devoted grandmother of Robert Roscillo, Jr. and his wife Nichole, Jessica Roscillo and Michael Gallagher and the great-grandmother of Nicholas, Dominic and Damian Roscillo. She was the aunt of Susan Ray and her husband Kevin of ME, Harold Sweet of Woburn, Stephen Sweet of Peabody, Paul Sweet of Waltham, Ellen Blampye of Woburn and Thomas Butler and his wife Karen of Sandwich, MA and great-aunt of Stephen Sweet, Jr., Madelyn and Olivia Ray and Heather and Marissa Blampye.
